On 17th May 2016 CQC inspected our Practice. All staff have been working hard to ensure that our patients are provided with the best service we can possibly give.
Today our CQC report has been published and the Practice has been rated as GOOD.
As you can imagine we are very pleased with the rating, but understand that there is still room for improvement and we will continue to improve and develop our service to our patients.

The Practice will close from 12pm on certain third Wednesdays. Dates will be advertised on the Practice notice board. This is time for staff training and development.
There is no surgery on a Saturday morning. Please use the Out of Hours number, which is for emergencies only. The number is NHS 111

Your main point of contact with the Practice will be with the reception team. We pride ourselves on being courteous and will endeavour to help and assist you whenever possible. The receptionists have a responsible job. They are often working under a great deal of pressure, so please allow for this.

Welcome to Erica Meehan who is our new Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist
Advanced Nurse Practitioner Helen Smith will be working with us on Friday’s from 4th January 2015 to replace Dr Ali until the foreseeable future
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRACTICE HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ANY KIND OF ABUSE TOWARDS ANY MEMBER OF ITS STAFF. WHETHER THIS IS VERBAL, MENTAL OR PHYSICAL.
The Practice would like to remind all patients that we do not accept requests for repeat medication over the telephone. If you have problems ordering your medication, you can:
Speak to a Pharmacy to arrange for them to order and collect your medication on your behalf
Register to use SystmOnLine and order your medication online
Please speak to the reception team if you would like to register for our SystmOnLine service. This will enable
You to be able to book, cancel appointments and order repeat medications from our website as well as view your Summary Care Record
The Practice has recently installed ICE, which is an electronic way of requesting tests and x-rays. It reduces the need for blood forms and x-ray forms.
eDSM – Enhanced Data Sharing Model
All patients of the Practice will be marked with ‘Implied Consent’ unless they wish to inform us otherwise.
The data sharing will only be between the Practice and any other health care professional who is directly involved with that patient’s care.
