Emergencies

In the event of an emergency e.g. chest pain, shortness of breath or collapse, your call will usually be put through immediately to the doctor. The doctor will decide whether it is appropriate to offer an urgent surgery appointment, visit to your home, or to arrange for an ambulance. An ambulance is arranged where prompt treatment is essential e.g. suspected heart attack or unconsciousness.
