If you think you may be pregnant please obtain an early morning specimen of urine (the first you pass in the morning). This sample can then be used to carry out a pregnancy test available from the chemist.
If your test is positive, the first step is to arrange to see the doctor to have your pregnancy confirmed.
You will then be made the relevant preliminary appointment with the midwife for your antenatal care.
